Indian Home Minister Amit Shah, responding to the blast, stated, ‘Not ruling out any possibility.’ He visited the blast site and emphasized a thorough investigation into the Red Fort blasts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences for the lives lost in the explosion.
Delhi Police Commissioner and Intelligence Bureau chief briefed the Ministry of Home Affairs about the situation. The blast has put the entire nation on high alert, with security tightened at key sites, including the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
