Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders Aaditya Thackeray and Anil Parab have raised alarms after drones were reportedly spotted near the Mumbai residences of party head Uddhav Thackeray, sparking concerns over privacy and security breaches.
Aaditya Thackeray revealed that a drone was observed near his home, peeping inside before swiftly departing upon detection. He tweeted, ‘A drone was caught peeping into our residence this morning…’
MLC Anil Parab claimed a drone was seen hovering over ‘Matoshree,’ Uddhav Thackeray’s residence, and urged the police to investigate the incident, questioning the motive behind the aerial surveillance.
The incidents occurred while Uddhav Thackeray was away touring Marathwada, with Shiv Sena leaders expressing concerns over potential surveillance activities in high-security zones.
Shiv Sena leaders Ambadas Danve and Anil Parab demanded a thorough probe into the drone sightings, emphasizing the gravity of the security implications. Parab emphasized the need to identify the drone operator and ascertain any potential security threats associated with the incidents.
