The PlayStation Portal has officially launched a Cloud Streaming update on November 5, exclusively for PS Plus Premium members. This new feature allows members to stream thousands of digital PS5 games from their library via the cloud, enabling gameplay even when the home PS5 is powered off or in use by someone else.
Previously, the PS Portal required a continuous Remote Play connection to an active PS5 console. With the new Cloud Streaming feature, Premium members can now access select digital PS5 games remotely.
On the other hand, PlayStation’s new ‘Stream Your Own Game’ feature boasts over a thousand titles, surpassing Xbox Cloud Gaming’s offering. This move by PlayStation aims to dominate Xbox in cloud gaming and cross-buy with Xbox Play Anywhere.
