US lawmakers release over 20,000 pages of documents from Epstein's estate, mentioning Trump. Trove of emails reveals interactions between Epstein and influential figures.

US lawmakers have released over 20,000 pages of documents from the estate of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, with some mentioning President Donald Trump. The trove of emails released by Democrats and Republicans on the House Oversight Committee named influential figures corresponding with the notorious financier.

Mike Johnson, the US House speaker, announced that the bill compelling the release of government files related to Epstein will be put on the House floor next week. Email exchanges between Epstein and former government officials, celebrities, and public figures were among the documents released.

Republicans in the committee released the trove of documents after Democrats revealed three bombshell emails from Epstein that described interactions with Trump. The emails appeared to shed light on how much knowledge the President had of Epstein’s illicit activities.
