Veteran actor Prem Chopra, a stalwart of Indian cinema, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai due to health concerns. The 90-year-old actor was hospitalized as a precautionary measure and is currently under medical care. Chopra, known for his iconic villainous roles in over 380 films spanning six decades, is expected to be discharged in the next few days.
Chopra’s son-in-law, actor Vikas Bhalla, reassured fans, stating, ‘It’s all age-related, and a regular procedure. There is nothing to worry about.’ The actor’s health update indicates that he is stable and on the path to recovery, with doctors anticipating his discharge within the next two to four days.
Cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale confirmed Chopra’s hospitalization after a viral infection and age-related complications. The medical team at Lilavati Hospital is closely monitoring his progress, with expectations of a full recovery in the coming days.
